Bonnie Callahan, Solo Cornet

 

Bonnie Callahan (she/her) is a musician, writer, administrator, and creative strategist passionate about using her skills to make impactful change in her community. She is currently the Development & Marketing Coordinator of the Philly Pops, a grant and copy writer for Influential Writings, and a development consultant for arts, education, and social service organizations throughout the United States. Committed to giving back and serving her profession, Bonnie also leads development as a board member of the East Brunswick Symphony Orchestra, is the editor of the International Trumpet Guild Journal's Product and App Reviews column, and frequently provides volunteer mentorship and support to startup nonprofits, executive directors, and aspiring arts administrators.

Also an active freelance musician, in addition to PBB, Bonnie also regularly performs with the East Brunswick Symphony Orchestra, Coda Brass Quintet, Central Brass Quintet, and other groups and ensembles in a variety of genres and settings throughout the Northeastern U.S. Bonnie holds a Master of Music in Trumpet Performance from West Chester University and bachelor’s degrees in Music Education and Trumpet Performance with a minor in International Studies from Rowan University.
