Dan Berz, Principal Cornet

Dan Berz joined the Princeton Brass Band as a full-time member in 2007, later becoming Principal Solo Cornet in 2011. During his time with the band, he performed with the 2013 and 2023 NABBA Championship-winning ensembles and won first place in the NABBA High Brass Slow Melody contest in 2011. In addition to performing, Dan is an active educator and serves as the band director at Franklin High School. In 2015 he founded the Princeton Youth Brass Band. Away from music, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife, Lia, and his two children, Zachary and Avery.
