EJ Ferrara, Second Tenor Horn

Elizabeth (EJ) Ferrara is an excited new member of the Princeton Brass Band! After graduating from Ithaca College in May 2026 for French Horn performance, she quickly took up tenor horn for the main reason of joining PBB. Before college, EJ’s horn technique was fostered mainly with John Clark, alongside masterclasses with Jen Montone, Doug Lundeen, Jeff Lang, and Shelly Showers. In her collegiate years, she worked primarily with Alex Shuhan - as well as Erik Kushner while abroad in Vienna - and spent her final semester with Shanyse Strickland. Alongside joining PBB, EJ has started teaching private lessons, music directing stage productions, gigging on the French horn, and, of course, pet sitting. She is eternally thankful to her family, friends, girlfriend, and cats. Stay musical!
