Joel Mikulyak, Second Trombone

Joel Mikulyak is a trombonist and software engineer from Red Bank, NJ who fell in love with music at an early age. He studied Jazz Performance at William Paterson University, where he had the amazing opportunity to learn from world-class musicians like John Mosca, Clark Terry, and Harold Mabern. Joel has been fortunate to have been called to perform with incredible artists including The Four Tops, Phil Woods, Wycliffe Jean, and many other fantastic ensembles. When he's not making music, Joel works as a software engineer and loves spending time with his wife and their two excellent dogs, watching Formula 1, enjoying great food, playing video games, and hanging out with family and friends.
