Johnathan Cox, Solo Baritone

Johnathan Cox earned his bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Howard Payne University in 2014. During his undergraduate tenure he received the Outstanding Low Brass award and was recognized as the Euphonium Player of the Year. Johnathan taught concert, symphonic, and marching bands throughout greater Houston for eight years before moving to Philadelphia, where he is Director of Bands at Olney High School. Since 2010, he has played a range of brasswind instruments with The Woodlands Concert Band (The Woodlands, TX), the Houston Brass Band (Houston, TX), and the Chesapeake Silver Cornet Brass Band (Wilmington, DE) before playing baritone with the Princeton Brass Band.
