Libby Ando, First Tenor Horn

Libby Ando (she/her) is a horn player and educator based in the New Jersey/Philadelphia region. She recently earned her DMA at Rutgers University, where she studied with Leelanee Sterrett. Libby obtained her Master’s Degree in Horn Performance from West Chester University in 2019, studying with Dr. Elizabeth Pfaffle, and holds a Bachelor’s in Music Education from Rowan University, where she studied with Lyndsie Wilson. She teaches in a variety of settings, including private lessons, clinics, and the marching arts. Libby is a proud founding member of the Coda Brass Quintet and serves as Brass Caption Head for Rowan University's Pride of the Profs Marching Band, a position she has held since the band’s founding in 2023. She has also served as Brass Caption Manager for the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps in 2025. Libby is so excited to be joining PBB for her second season on tenor horn.
