Matt Sakasitz, Bb Bass

Matt Sakasitz (he/him) is a performer and music educator based in central NJ. He earned both his B.M. in Music Education and M.M. in Wind Band Conducting from Rutgers University, where he studied tuba with Alan Baer and conducting with Darryl Bott and Todd Nichols.

In addition to performing with Princeton Brass Band, Matt is an active educator, teaching middle school band and marching band. He has taught marching groups throughout NJ, including the Bushwackers Drum and Bugle Corps and Rutgers University Marching Scarlet Knights.

Outside of music, Matt enjoys running and all things coffee.
