Join the Princeton Brass Band as we go ‘on the road’ and return to the Gettysburg Brass Band festival! This multi-day festival brings together some of the top performing brass bands from throughout the region including our friends at Atlantic Brass Band and Chesapeake Brass Band among many others. The Princeton Brass Band is excited to present our Sounds of Summer program, featuring some classic band charts, film and radio hits, and other fun pieces to get you in the summer spirit. We'll also be featuring a set by the Princeton Youth Brass Band! Admission is FREE but any donations, which help us cover the costs needed to execute our mission, are encouraged and appreciated.

If you feel like going on the road with your favorite brass band, you can head to Fort Wayne, Indiana to support the Princeton Brass Band as we perform Thierry Deleruyelle’s Crazy Twenties, in addition to our ‘Own Choice’ selection at 2025’s North American Brass Band Association (NABBA) championship. Following our 2023 success winning the first section of the competition, the band will once again be competing in the top level Championship section. The third and final performance of the holiday season, our ‘Home for the Holidays’ concert, will feature a homecoming of sorts for our guest soloist, former PBB MD and solo euphonium player and current solo euphonium of the New York Staff Band, Aaron VanderWeele! This concert will also bring the band ‘home’ to Princeton, taking place at the gorgeous Richardson Auditorium in Alexander Hall at Princeton University.

Our second holiday concert of the season, Holiday Brass II, takes place on Saturday, December 14th at St. David's Episcopal Church in Cranbury. This event will feature a variety of holiday classics, including duets and solos from members of the band, and an arrangement of a holiday classic for brass band by one of our members!
Admission is free and all are welcome, but donations are encouraged and always appreciated. There will also be other opportunities to support the band, with merchandise and holiday goodies for sale perfect for a PBB fan’s wish list.

PBB is happy to share that our second annual installment of Halloween Brass, a concert to celebrate the exciting themes of dressing up and celebrating the Halloween season, will take place on Sunday, October 27th at 3PM at Simpson United Methodist Church in Old Bridge, NJ. Admission is FREE, and in the “trick or treat” spirit, we’ll have treats for our fans that choose to attend in costume!

The Princeton Brass Band returns to Richardson Auditorium for it’s annual holiday show. We are excited to feature David Krauss, Principal Trumpet of The Metropolitan opera as our guest soloist this year. Closing out a successful 2023 season that saw the band win the First Section of the North American Brass Band Championships, the Princeton Brass Band thrills audiences with riveting and emotional music written for the British-style brass band. We are excited to announce our next program, the last before we leave for NABBA! This will be an afternoon full of fireworks for the band, as we play our two selections for the championships as well as some solos and more standard works for band. You really REALLY will not want to miss this!
As many of you may or may not know, this will be the band's first time back at NABBA for several years. As we have discovered, getting 30 people to Alabama for a weekend is quite an expense! If you are planning on attending our show, all ticket and t-shirt sales/ other donations will be helping us to offset our travel costs. Safety Requirements:
MASKS: For the health of our entire community of music lovers, masks at our performances are strongly encouraged.
VACCINATIONS: As per Princeton University COVID-19 policies, all campus visitors must be either fully vaccinated, have recently received and prepared to show proof of a negative COVID test (via PCR within 72 hours or via rapid antigen within 8 hours of the scheduled visit), or agree to wear a face covering when indoors and around others.
PLEASE NOTE: The Richardson box office is doing away with Will Call. Therefore, all ticket sales will be handled through the Princeton Web site, available at the link above. At completion of the transaction you will be able to print the tickets to bring with you to the venue. Ticket sales will also be available starting at 1pm prior to the concert in the lobby of Richardson Auditorium, but we strongly encourage our patrons to purchase the ticket ahead of time so you aren’t stuck in line the day of the concert.

Join us at Middlebush Reformed Church for our next show. PBB will kick off the first half with some brass band classics, including Eric Ball’s Journey into Freedom. On the second half, we’ll be joined by the musicians of our Youth Band for a side by side program. In addition, we will be featuring the winner of our first Youth Solo Competition: Ananth Raman, playing Aritunian’s fantastic trumpet concerto.
Please join us on May 1st in the beautiful sanctuary of St. Joseph’s Church in Maplewood for an afternoon of great music. The highlight of the program is Eric Ball’s wonderful ‘Journey into Freedom’, as well as soloists from the band and some movie favorites for an audience of all ages!
